Soul Catcher is a phenomenal book about slave catcher named Cain who is hired to catch a runaway slave named Rosetta. The novel takes place in the mid s before the Civil War, in a time when slavery was still alive and the racism against black people in the South was strong and violent/5().

So the book is about Cain, a "Soul Catcher" (or a man who chases and returns slaves to their owners in s USA). He is in gambling debt to a Mr Eberly and has signed his prized horse over to him too in a drunken nights gambling.

So he is basically forced into having to pursue 2 of Mr Eberly's runaway slaves, accompanied by 3 of Eberly's men/5(83). Or someone with uncanny imagination such as Frank.

In any case, the book came at a right time, and as a I have read it before, I Soulcatcher book it to someone else. I suggest getting "Soul Catcher" as it is an adventure, very different from anything that I have read, mainly because it is so dense and real.

It is about shedding an old skin and emerging true/5(23). Soul Catcher () is a novel by the science fiction writer Frank Herbert. Soul Catcher is about a Native American who kidnaps a young white boy and their journey together. It is a story of vengeance and sacrifice.
